Description

In 1959, at the outskirts of Malacca town; Tanjung Kling, a familiar face on his tricycle was seen together with his hand-operated coffee grinding machine. In those days, villagers could find him selling his freshly-roasted coffee, with the aroma filling every household of the neighborhood. This fine and diligent gentleman, was the founder of Sin Sing Coffee, Mr. Chua Tian.

The rich and mellow aroma of Mr. Chua Tian’s coffee soon attracted interest from people around the place. Soon business was booming, thanks to the words-of-mouth of the locals. Encouraged by the growing business, Mr. Chua Tian mooted the idea of setting up his own factory and built his own brand. While having deep thoughts but fail to find any clue, he noticed a pair of squirrels playing with each other on top of a coconut tree in front of the “attap” house. Having inspired by these two lively animals, he decided to use Tupai (squirrel) as his trademark, which symbolizes vigorous and vibrant business outlook of Sin Sing Coffee. In order to meet the growing demand, his aged buddy, the tricycle was replaced with modern vans to better serve the customers. To repay customers’ strong support, Mr. Chua devoted himself to further develop a unique taste for his brand of coffee by trying out more varieties of coffee beans and the art of roasting and blending.

Today, the brands under Sin Sing Coffee have become popular all over Malaysia. Commendably, its rich coffee aroma has not faded since the beginning. It only gets better with the company’s persistent effort in product improvement and innovation, while preserving the traditional art of coffee roasting and blending inherited from the company founder. Sin Sing Coffee always upholds its commitment to put customers’ interest first. On a firm ground, Sin Sing Coffee aims to set foot in the global stage, vowing to bring a brand new era to the Malaysian coffee history
