Gala Performance Sdn Bhd was incorporated on 2nd December 1997 and commenced operations on 2nd May 1998.

The initial business activity of the Company is the manufacturing of single extension self-closing drawer slides and trading the same both in the local and export market. The drawer slides are of various sizes ranging from 10” (250mm) to 24” (600mm).

Besides producing for the local market, the Company has also secured orders from overseas such as Taiwan, India, Singapore and Sri Lanka through its extensive exposition of its products at furniture fair. The Company intends to widen its product scope to include screw bed-joints and other related furniture parts and accessories in order to capture a wider market in the future.

However, due to the highly competitive market from China in terms of volume and price, our Company is unable to compete and therefore cease manufacturing single extension drawer slides in 2001; and changes its business activities to manufacturing, fabrication and processing of advertising products, decorative paper, building materials, household fittings and accessories.
