Description

The Company started out in 1985; its general operations involvedt the moulding and processing of swan-timber products, and supplying them to furniture workshops and building contractors throughout the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia and Klang Valley.

In August 1990, a new carpentry workshop was set up for the purpose of supplying timber doors and frames to building developers and in the following year, Seon Lim was appointed by Gang-Nail Australia Company Limited as its licensed roof-truss fabricator, where, thereafter, the Company began to supply prefabricated roof-trusses to building contractors and housing developers. Due to a flourishing economy in the Klang Valley, business boomed and the Company decided set up its first branch at Sungai Buloh, Selangor Darul Ehsan in that same year.

In July 1993, new products such as chipboards, plywood and furniture hardware were added to our existing product line as a result of new wave of diversification measures, that were undertaken. By early 1994, the groundwork to set up a new branch in Butterworth was completed within a year. The Company had also built a timber processing workshop in Keningau, Sabah (Sabah Branch) in view of the tremendous market potential for sawn timber products Situated in Kampung Ulu Patikang, about 7.2 km west of Keningau Town Centre, this Keningau factory stands on a piece of company-owned land measuring approximately 4.329 ha (10.69 acres). Due to shortage of manpower in the industry, our Sabah branch ceased operations since the end of 2001.

In 1994, Startech (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. appointed our company as its distributor for melamine faced chipboards (MFCs) to end users and dealers in the local market.

In 1995, the Company purchased a piece of Industrial Land of PT 1097, 2 ½ KM, Off Jalan Pengkalan, Mukim Sungai Raya, 31300 Kampung Kepayang, Perak for the purpose of constructing the company’s own main factory building-cum-head office. Upon its completion on the end of 15th February 1996, the Company shifted its entire business operations from a rented factory at Ipoh’s Tasek Industrial Estate to the new Kampung Kapayang premises.

In 1996, our Company was appointed by three major suppliers, namely, Guthrie MDF Sdn. Bhd., Mieco Chipboard Bhd. and Mieco Marketing Sdn. Bhd. to be the distributor of their chipboards / particle boards. Business relationships amongst us continue to see positive progress to date.

In 2020, the Company choose to relocate its business to No. 7, Persiaran Perindustrian Pengkalan 20, Kawasan Perindustrian Pengkalan, 31500 Ipoh Perak is because of the current facility no longer enough space to meet its requirements. The relocation also is for company growth and expansion.
